Congratulations to Sensei Grant “Sandaa” Murata and Sensei Kenton Odo for their new CD:
Okinawa Bon Odori
“Celebrating Over 100 Years in Hawaii”
The CD features a collection of timeless Okinawa traditional Eisa Bon Odori songs passed down through Sensei Grant “Sandaa” Murata from Uta Sanshin Master Henry Masatada Higa. The CD also features Sensei Kenton Odo, a student of Grant Murata and the Afuso Ryu Gensei Kai, Hawaii Shibu.
Additional musicians include Heeshi by Chikako Murata and Caroline Shimamura, Taiko by Melissa Uyeunten and Van Shimabukuo.
